If you complete the French-language learning program Explore, you are eligible to apply for a bursary to help pay your travel expenses. The bursary is called the Council of Ministers of Education Territorial Initiative.

The bursary amount is dependent on the number of applicants. In 2023, the bursary was $1,000.
Deadline
February 15 of each year.

Email edu-french-programs@yukon.ca with your Explore certificate of completion.
When will you find out about your application?
If you qualify for a bursary, we'll contact you by email. We'll mail a cheque in your name to your mailing address.
Report your bursary on your tax return
You must report the bursary you received on your tax return. We’ll send a T4A to the mailing address you provide during the application process.
