Recipients of the Yukon Seniors Income Supplement to receive payment in two instalments this month

This month, Yukoners who receive the Yukon Seniors Income Supplement (YSIS) will be issued their payment in two instalments instead of one.

The first instalment was issued on October 10, which consists of the regular supplement amount, plus an additional 6.4 per cent that has been added this month to adjust for inflation. Recipients will receive a second payment for the additional monthly inflation relief amount on October 18.

YSIS recipients are being notified directly by mail and can call 867-667-8772 with any questions.
