Statement from Premier Pillai on the Outstanding Youth Achievement Awards

Premier Ranj Pillai has issued the following statement:

“Nominations for the 2024 Outstanding Youth Achievement Awards are now open. The Outstanding Youth Achievement Awards serve as a beacon of recognition and celebration, spotlighting the remarkable accomplishments and contributions of the Yukon’s young leaders.

“These awards honour youth who are involved in their communities in constructive and positive ways such as volunteering, fundraising, helping seniors and Elders and being a positive role model. The awards not only recognize their exceptional achievements but also underscore the vital role that youth play in shaping our future.

“As we applaud their innovation, dedication and commitment to positive change we are inspired by their limitless potential to create a brighter and more inclusive world.

“I encourage all Yukoners to nominate youth aged 15 to 20 in their communities so that we may recognize their extraordinary efforts. Nominations are open now until May 1, 2024.”
