Libraries are vital community spaces where kids can explore, learn and connect. Thank you CBC Kids for visiting the Yukon and highlighting the importance of these spaces in fostering a love for reading and building strong, vibrant communities. Furthermore, I would like to express my appreciation to the CBC for its broader role as a public broadcaster providing accessible and trustworthy information to all Canadians.
We are very excited to welcome Janaye, Gary the Unicorn and the entire CBC Kids Book Club Live team to the Whitehorse Public Library. Bringing the community together is a key part of what the library does and we hope to see many people out enjoying the day’s events.
We are thrilled to celebrate the love of books with kids and families in Whitehorse alongside talented local storytellers Georgette McLeod and Tedd Tucker. Thanks to the Whitehorse Public Library for hosting us, and we look forward to meeting the community on May 10.
