Site description
  • The end of the Yukon River Thirty Mile section/Tágà Shäw Jädalį, between Lake Laberge (Táaʼan Män) and the Teslin River (Délin Chú).
  • Designated a Canadian Heritage River in 1991.
  • Popular with canoeists. 
  • Shores have many historic sites from communities that serviced sternwheelers. 
  • Remains of the S.S. Evelyn sits on Shipyard Island, immediately downstream from Hootalinqua, where there's interpretation and a day-use area.
