  • Remains of the S.S. Evelyn sit on this island, marking the end of The Thirty Mile section of the Yukon River (Tágà Shäw).
  • The day-use area has interpretive panels.
  • The Yukon River Thirty Mile section/Tágà Shäw Jädalį lies between Lake Laberge (Táaʼan Män) and the Teslin River (Délin Chú).
  • Designated a Canadian Heritage River in 1991.
  • Popular with canoeists. 
  • The shores have many historic sites from communities that serviced sternwheelers.
