Site description
- There are campsites at both the upriver and downriver ends of this island, which are connected by a trail.
- The Yukon River Thirty Mile section/Tágà Shäw Jädalį lies between Lake Laberge (Táaʼan Män) and the Teslin River (Délin Chú).
- Designated a Canadian Heritage River in 1991.
- Popular with canoeists.
- Shores have many historic sites from communities that serviced sternwheelers.
- Remains of the S.S. Evelyn sit on Shipyard Island at the end of The Thirty Mile.
