Message from Minister of Community Services Richard Mostyn
Congratulations on being selected to represent Team Yukon at the 2024 Arctic Winter Games in Mat-Su Valley, Alaska. I, like all Yukoners, am excited to cheer you on.
It is a tremendous accomplishment to make Team Yukon. Your hard work and dedication has gotten you here; now the work will continue to get ready for the Games.
The time spent practicing and honing your skills with your teammates and coaches will prepare you for your competitions. There will be many wonderful moments ahead, and I am confident that you will be ready to prove to yourself, your teammates, and your competition, what you are capable of.
Your teammates are with you, and the Yukon is behind you - 100 per cent. We are proud of your accomplishments, and I know that you will do your best in representing our territory on this international stage.
May you reach your goals by trying your best, cheering your teammates on, and most importantly, having fun.

Registration
If you are on Team Yukon, you must register by January 22, 2024 to participate in the Games. Select your role below to go to the online registration form.
Other requirements
Criminal record check
- All participants 18 years or older must get a criminal record check (CRC) from the RCMP. CRCs done within one year (March 10, 2023) before the start of the Games are accepted.
- You must bring your completed CRC to Sport Yukon’s office.
- The deadline to submit your CRC to Sport Yukon is January 22, 2024.
Team agreement
The Team Agreement can be found on page 28 of the Team Yukon Handbook. All Team Yukon must submit a signed agreement by January 22, 2024 to Sport Yukon.
Coach training
Coaches must complete the following training to attend the Games.
Team Yukon fees
Fees
Sport Yukon manages participant fees for the Games. Fees are due by January, 22, 2024.
The cost to participate in the Games is:
- $450 for an athlete; and
- $350 for a coach, manager or mission staff.
You can pay either:
- Online; or
- In person at Sport Yukon.
Sport Yukon's office is located at 4061 - 4th Avenue in Whitehorse. You can pay by cash, cheque, debit or credit card. Their office hours are:
- Monday through Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; and
- Thursday 12 pm to 4:30 pm.
