Purpose of the trip: Minister McPhee joined Premier Silver and Minister Frost, the Grand Chief of the Council of Yukon First Nations and several Yukon First Nations Chiefs for meetings with federal Ministers to jointly advocate on key issues important to Yukoners.

While in Ottawa, Minister McPhee met with the federal Minister of Public Safety and with the Minister of Justice on Yukon priorities. She also participated as a keynote speaker to the Indigenous Peoples' Justice: Reconciliation and Capacity Building Conference, to present on the Yukon’s therapeutic courts: the Community Wellness Court and the Domestic Violence Treatment Option Court.
