Purpose of the trip
Minister McLean participated in a two-day forum with provincial counterparts and Indigenous leaders across BC. Discussions focussed on the Yukon implementation plan for the territory's Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2-spirit Individuals strategy and steps being taken throughout the Yukon and BC to end gender-based violence. Her Ministerial Advisor, Paolo Gallina, accompanied her in these meetings.
