Purpose of the trip: Minister Clarke was in Vancouver to attend the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) Roundup 2023. Minister Clarke met with various stakeholders at the mining convention to discuss mining related issues. Minister Clarke also attended the FPT Symposium on Digital Trust and Cybersecurity as the Minister of Highways and Public Works where emerging issues related to Information Technology were discussed with his federal, provincial and territorial counterparts.
