Purpose of the trip: Premier Silver, Ministers McPhee and Frost, the Grand Chief of the Council of Yukon First Nations and several Yukon First Nations Chiefs met with federal Ministers to jointly advocate on key issues important to Yukoners.

On the same trip, the Premier attended the First Ministers’ Meeting in Montreal for discussions with his provincial and territorial counter parts and the Prime Minister and several federal Ministers on a range of economic and environmental issues.  The Premier also met privately with the Prime Minister on specific Yukon priorities.

The Premier travelled back to Ottawa for the meeting of federal, provincial and territorial Ministers of Finance.
