Report a key wildlife habitat observation

The Government of Yukon is updating information on key wildlife habitats in the Yukon, including:

  • mineral licks;
  • raptor nests;
  • Sharp-tailed Grouse mating grounds known as leks;
  • Polar Bear dens; and
  • Dolly Varden and Bull Trout spawning areas.

If you see any of these habitats, we would like to hear from you. The information you provide could support wildlife management and conservation. It may be used for:

  • environmental assessment;
  • land use planning;
  • academic; and
  • other purposes.

  1. Complete a wildlife habitat observation form.
  2. Submit the form.
